As I prepare for a short weeklong experience to Oregon I realize I want to decrease the amount of lenses I will use at the journey. I don’t need all my tools for the sort of short journey.

I can be taking the Sigma 14-24mm F2.8 Art, 24-105mm F4 Art and remaining however not least the Sigma 70-200mm F2.Eight DG OS HSM Sports. These 3 lenses cover the range I want with excellent picture exceptional.

I’ve had the 70-2 hundred for some months now and am actually impressed with the convenience of use and photograph nice. I simply were given back from Yellowstone wherein I became photographing wildlife and landscapes with the lens. The image pleasant is 2d to none. I am no longer the usage of the lens for video, best stills. There are a few points I need to convey up approximately this lens.

A young eagle sits as the east entrance to Yellowstone National Park Nikon D850, Sigma 70-200mm F2.8 DG OS HSM Sports, F/4.5, 1/100th sec, ISO 200, handheld at 200mm

It’s a fantastically designed 2.Eight lens with four stops of Optical Stabilization, this makes it remarkable easy to use handhold even at 200mm. It comes with a tripod collar which has a constructed in Arca Swiss mount and the tripod collar rotates on the lens so that you in no way want to take the digicam off the tripod to switch from portrait to landscape orientation when taking pictures. This turned into one characteristic I actually loved outside of the image first-class. It simply makes shooting so much less difficult.

Fully climate sealed and a rock stable build supply me the self assurance I want when taking pictures in sketchy climate. I do a lot of taking pictures in and around water so whilst I am very cautious I additionally recognise that things can occur. This lens is ready to tackle what ever situations I throw at it.
