Protect your investment and mount accessories onto your Blackmagic Design Cinema Camera 6K with this dedicated Camera Cage from SmallRig. This protective aluminum frame features one shoe mount, a side NATO rail, multiple 1/4″-20 threads, and 3/8″-16 ARRI-style accessory mounts built into the cage’s top, sides, and bottom. A lens adapter support is included to assist in supporting lens adapters such as Sigma MC-21/31 or similar with heavier lenses.
Access to the camera’s controls, compartments, and connectors is maintained when the cage is fitted to the camera. The camera mounts using two 1/4″-20 screws at the base and one on top, and silicone pads on the base ensure that your camera doesn’t twist or scratch. The placement of 1/4″-20 threads on the bottom and side makes it easily convertible from horizontal to vertical shooting mode.
NOTE: This cage only fits the Blackmagic Design Cinema Camera 6K model and is not compatible with the Pocket Cinema Camera 6K or 6K Pro models.
